Members steve hansl Posted April 6, 2011 Members Report Posted April 6, 2011 I have been trying out my batch of vinegaroon and it works. After neutralizing and rinsing I let it dry overnight and it still smells, good thing it was some scrap pieces.Does it dissipate on its own or do you have to do some other step? Thanks for any help. Members The Grizzly Posted April 6, 2011 Members Report Posted April 6, 2011 The smell should dissipate within a couple days or so. Put it in front of a fan to finish drying. Quote
MADMAX22 Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 Also try adding a little more iron to the mix for a while. It should not smell to terribly bad for the most part. Ofcourse every piece of leather seems to react differently and smell differently. Quote
