KimB Report post Posted April 14, 2011 I have a leather tool that I desperately need help finding. It was purchased from Tandy Leather twelve to sixteen years ago. It is stamped with a number 4. From what I gather it's a creaser. The problem is I can't find one that has this particular shape. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Sorry about the pic quality. Leatherimages Report post Posted April 14, 2011 Kim that's a Single Edge Creaser. Proleptic.net (of Shop Talk Publishing) often has them for sale in their tool swap section. Bob Douglas (of Douglas Tools) does also. I also took my old Tandy bone folder to the sand paper and shaped one for myself once upon a time. You might try that also. I will be sure to check their websites frequently. The biggest problem I'm having is finding one that's not pointed on the end. The one I have is more rounded. I actually took a baby spoon to the sander and stuck it in an old wooden handle from a different tool. It works okay, but not as good as the original, if you know what I mean.
