Members K-Man Posted May 24, 2008 Members Report Posted May 24, 2008 I had these recently made and have decided to let them go for cost. It's damascus steel with micarta grips. Will make/include basic sheath for them as well. The price is $150/each + $7/shipping. I can accept credit card (Mastercard/VISA), money order, or check. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. You can most easily reach me at the shop: (813) 601-0504, and we're available Monday-Saturday, 9:00 - 6:00 (eastern time). My email address is Leathercraft (*AT*) hotmail (*DOT*) com. Thanks for your interest. Quote
Bob Posted May 25, 2008 Report Posted May 25, 2008 They sure look pretty, but how thick are they near the edges? 3/8 inch from the edge should be about .0020 - .0025 and the longest bevel you can. I'm not sure how to type what I mean. 20/1000's is what my knives are thick. The heat treatment is also critical, if the knife maker has a oven, the rockwell hardness should be 60-62.
