Summer Special First Attempt

These are my first attempts at a Summer Special. Let me know what you guys think.

They really look great . You might consider doing them with a body shield to keep sweat off the weapon also. The acids in human sweat can play hell on the finish and the metal, my brothers Sig 230 carried IWB without the shield ended up getting a some rust on the grip screws and the rear sight, no pitting, almost like a dust.

Excellent work redhat. I would agree with Reaper about adding the body shield. Makes me want to try one now too. Oh so many things so little time.

Redhat: Very nice looking work. If you are making these for yourself I can see no issue with calling them "Summer Specials". If you are making these for sale I would recommend against using another maker's tradename.

They are just for my personal use as for now. If i ever starting selling holsters I would call them by another name. I have two more in the works that i will post tomorrow.
