itsben Report post Posted April 23, 2011 Hey there... Does anyone know where to find Horween leather (particularly cordovan and chromexcel) other than from the tannery itself? I haven't spoken with them yet, but I believe their minimum orders are quite large and as I'm just getting started with my business, I need to keep the upfront investment to a minimum at this stage. Any help you can offer would be hugely appreciated. Thanks! Ben

lazybum Report post Posted April 30, 2011 Sheridan Leather in Sheridan, Wyoming. Don't have their number with me, they have a site. Frank I believe they don't have a site yet? Tried googling with no luck. Anyway i'm interested in a supplier for these leathers too. Siegel used to carry shells but are they still in buisness? Their site is online as usual. jwilson Report post Posted June 6, 2011 brettuns village (www.brettunsvillage.com) currently has horween shells for $125 a piece shipped, and sometimes they have chromeexcel. It's a hard one to find a regular source for though....
SteelheadFineGoods Report post Posted February 26, 2013 http://thetanneryrow.com/ I recently ordered some chromexcel from Tannery Row. Eric was very helpful. I'm pretty sure they can get you some shell cordovan too. Expect a bit of a wait.

corter Report post Posted March 3, 2013 Last time I was there I heard Cordovan was super sold out, like nothing available until June 2013. Plus they haven't been producing anything but black and #8 since late summer of '12.
