Members Southtexas Posted May 10, 2011 Members Report Posted May 10, 2011 the gun nuts among us might get a chuckle out of my latest creation. The 410 swivel knife. Hiding under that hull is a steel body, ball bearing construction. Quote
King's X Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 For this swivel knife collector.......very cool! Happy carving! Quote Greetings from Central Texas! The Grain Side Up blog #TheGrainSideUp

Main reason being that the bearings were found items from a defunct camera, not something off the shelf. The hull itself isn't really integral to the knife. I don't have a knurling attachment for my little lathe so I was looking for something to give me more grip... and got creative. You could probably whip one up from an existing swivel knife, turned or filed down to fit inside the hull. Drill out the spent primer to fit... In other words, have fun with it. Quote
Members Rhide Posted May 11, 2011 Members Report Posted May 11, 2011 Excellent idea! I'm gonna have to try that. I can call mine a Judicial decision. Quote
