  2. I was gonna ask about that, but I didn't want to pizz anyone off!
  3. I find it ironic that this thread was started by ...an Ambassador!
  4. Enjoy your family time. That's much more important than anything else. Glad to see you got the most excellent "Bear Clan" to carry on your fine work. Top choice.
  5. Clean and simple with outstanding knot work. VERY nice.
  6. WOW!...just...WOW! Again, Crystal, you are an inspiration. Even as an old River Rat, I can appreciate this beautiful piece of art.
  7. Thanks from me too Cheryl, for bringing this back up. I missed it before. This is some very impressive work!
  8. More beautiful work there, Eaglestroker! Man, I gotta quit opening your rifle leather posts. I'm getting a severe case of rifle envy. I love that lever action!!!!
  9. I'd start with some 8/9 oz. veg tan leather, brass rivets and some brass Sam Brown button studs (for the clasps on the gun straps) The tooling and colors are up to you. Nice rifle, by the way. I have .54 cal Hawkins just like it. Love that black powder.
  10. Yep. Fixed something I was struggling with. Thanks from me too.
  11. What an honor! You're a man of many talents, Spinner.
  12. I couldn't find it anymore on Chuck's site, wrtcleather.com ,but it was mentioned in post #4 in this thread http://leatherworker...showtopic=17711 I'm not sure about copyright violation here so, if this is breaking any rules, would a moderator please remove this.
  13. Beautiful! The depth and coloring in your work amazes me.
  14. I also voted for the template. #1 reason being, it's her artwork, so she can decide when and where it is used #2 reason is the professional appearance the template gives ( I also agree with the peaceful look particle mentioned) Best of luck with your business.
  15. Nice job, KT! Looks real period. Can almost see the "Black Robes" influence here.
  16. That cigar case is beautiful! Perhaps "elegant" would be a better description.Wonderful photography on your work, also.
  17. More fine work, Tanya. I particularly like the key case. Nice design.
  18. Beautiful work. I'd almost be afraid to lay a gun on it. That's a piece of art there, Ed.
  19. Nice! Your work is always so fine. (why do I keep hearing Elton John in my head when I look at this?)
  20. Nice job on both! Looks like a lot of work went into the second one. Quite a bit of detail.
  21. Mine is 19"x 4" at the base. The jaws are 16" x 4" for an overall height of 16-3/4". These dimensions might not work for you. Sit in a chair and hold out your arms, at a comfortable level for you to stitch, to determine the jaw height. I figured my base width by measuring the seat of my chair and deducted 2" so it had room to move around a little. Hope this helps.
  22. Another fantastic piece! Very dynamic and amazing detail.
