Art Report post Posted May 12, 2011 Look on the motor plate and get the NEMA Frame Size RPM ~ 1200 or 1800 or 3600 Horsepower Voltage and Phase Call Baldor and they will give you the motor number you need. Baldor may have a cross to your machine, just call them. Art Hello, Anyone have a single phase atom SE25 Clicker? CampbellRandall Report post Posted May 12, 2011 The motor is an IEC metric frame, and it will be hard to find a metric frame in single phase. If you are so lucky ( I haven't found them yet), you will have to try and retro-fit the flange mount from the original motor. It would be easier and probably close to the same cost to just get a rotary phase convertor.
Art Report post Posted May 12, 2011 Dan and ? I am sorta sure Lafert (Italian) makes single phase (50 or 60Hz) motors with some of the IEC frames. EIS is a major distributor for them here in the States. Dan, I think there is one in Houston and another in Harlingen. ?, they also have warehouses in Cincinnati and maybe Cleveland. Thanks for the reply, Atom uses a single phase 1 hp with a cap. on the SE25...I have an atom part number in one of my parts books for it, the problem is that I do not have the original motor...It has been removed. All the motors are of the same frame, about all i know is that it's a "D" Class flange TEFC.....The atom part number in the parts list is just thier number, not a baldor catalog # I was hoping someone with a single phase atom could look on the motor and give me the catalog number and I could call baldor, or shop for a replacement
Cumberland Highpower Report post Posted May 13, 2011 Thanks for the input men, I do have a phase converter on my other atom, but to be honest I am kinda tired of them....I sure would like to just hook up single phase...
CampbellRandall Report post Posted May 13, 2011 The orginial motors are not Baldour, and most of the Baldour IEC line is 3-phase. We work with EIS, I'll see what I can find. I can also check what the cost is from ATOM. If you are missing the motor, do you have the flange and coupling joint?
