I don't have bigger pictures myself, but i can ask the owner of the machine to make some bigger ones.

The guy who sells the machine wants 525 Euros (about 750 USD). I think he offers it as a article of daily use but even if it would be offered as a collector piece 525 Euros seem pretty expensive to me.

Since I already have a Junker & Ruh SD28 i don't really need the J&R 22, but i want to have it . It´s not that i wouldn't use the machine but i would say the main part of me just wants to own it.

By the way I bought my SD28 for 80 Euros and it seems as if the previous owner didn't use it that often, all parts seem pretty "new" except from the little rust some parts have, and there are no parts missing and it works smoothly.

I don't know if there is a big difference in the Rafflenbeul MS200 and Rafflenbeul 55 but there are a few of them for sale on the well known auction site. The item no are :

Personally, I wouldn't pay EU525 for that machine, especially if I already had an SD.28, but the gear-head in me totally understands wanting it anyway! rolleyes2.gif I think EU80 is a pretty fair price for a used SD.28 that hasn't been restored or rebuilt. If you watch the auctions for the EU600 SD.28s, are they actually selling at that price? The only way I'd pay that for one is if it came complete with all of the original parts, burner, bobbin winder, manual etc.

It looks like the Rafflenbeul's are a lot more common in Germany (surprise, surprise!) than over here in New Zealand. For a machine I just happen to want for the collection and don't actually need It'll be a while before I can justify shipping one here though.

If you can get bigger pictures, I'd really appreciate it, thanks.

He tries to sell his SD 28 for EU600 for about half a year now :).

There is another guy who sells the SD28 for 420 to 490 Euros once in a while, but he just buys everything related to the SD28 at the well known auction site (no matter how much it gets) and resells them again (at the same site) so that you have to buy it from him if you what to have a SD28, or wait for something that he doesn't find (thats how i got my machine for 80 Euros).

After i asked him why he buys everything for idiotic high prices he told me that i´m banished from his seller site and that i´m not allowed to buy from him anymore. :evillaugh:

I´ll let you know if he sends me the pictures.
