Members hivemind Posted June 9, 2011 Members Report Posted June 9, 2011 Two layers of 3" wide 15" long 13-15oz straps, sewn onto a 3" wide belt. Outer straps have stainless steel plates riveted on. Inner straps have a stamped steel economy concho on the ends. Suspenders are latigo. Dyed with Fiebing's medium brown, sealed with Super Shene. Sewing done with the Tippmann Boss. It's really hot, so I'm fairly unhappy here: Quote
Members BOHUNTER Posted June 9, 2011 Members Report Posted June 9, 2011 Just amazes me the items people are able to make! Nice work. Quote
Members Aghrivaine Posted August 8, 2011 Members Report Posted August 8, 2011 Where did you get the stainless steel plates? It's a great looking piece of armor, I'd love to work on something similar. Quote
Members hivemind Posted August 11, 2011 Author Members Report Posted August 11, 2011 I bought several hundred of them for a few projects from Jaime at Polar Bear Forge. They're laser cut, which is nice because they're all identical. Quote
