8 ft bull whip

Well here is my first try at braiding a whip. I think I have the gist of it. Now I just need to practice braiding over the core. And try and make a better core. I'll use a rawhide core on the next one and see how that works. I believe I learned quite a bit with this one though. Still cant get the hang of the turks head knot.

Not really sure what kind of leather it is. It was 29 dollars for the whole hide.

the leather came from Austrailia. Thats all I know. I got the whole hide for 29 bucks or so. Its nice stuff though. I can try and find out what it is.

My photography skills need drastic work. Byt any way heres the whip with a couple of turks head knots thanks to Drac.
