Granite Slabs Free!

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I work in warehouseing and one of our customers used to store granite slabs with us. These came in really cheap frames and occasionally the frames would break. So, I ended up with a whole mess of partial slabs. I have used one for myself for my bench, but I do not need 1000 more. Obviously, they are not cut square, but I cut mine with a wet saw with no problem. I have pieces from 1 x 1 to some that are large enough you could redue your whole work bench (maybe your kitchen also).

If anyone is interested, they are located in Carson, CA. As I said, they are free, you just need to pick them up. Anything from one to all. There is white, brown, black, and green. This is a photo of alittle bit of it. You can reach me at (909) 239-2394.

Hey Jim,

I'd be interested in a good slab as I'm getting ready to expand my bench area for private tutoring I'll be doing soon. Are they available to pick up on weekends or just weekdays? I'm up in L.A. near the 110/5 interchange so getting down to Carson would be a snap.

Hey Chris,

Unfortunately I do have to work weekends, but that won't start until next month or so. normally we are a 9-5 m-f shop, but we gear up for the holiday season. I do have a couple of good slabs that would do a full bench. Just remember, they are HEAVY!!! An estimated 500-600 lbs each. Or you could get a couple of the smaller slaps and piece them together. I can have a forklift available to help you load it, but you will still need two guys when you come by.

Let me know when you do the tutoring, I might like to get into one of the classes. By the way, I love your burnishers, use it almost every night.
