I would like to learn men's shoe-making but I've been trying to find a place near Los Angeles and it has been near to impossible. If anybody has a suggestion can you please share it with me. Smuzzler Report post Posted July 28, 2011 I've been searching as well. But i guess there is nothing around here. I did find a week long class in Oregon and there is some other classes in Arizona. I even asked the guys over at Saderma Leather and they didn't know of anything for sure. They did say a woman in Pasadena has a class, but that was all the info that they had. Sixsmith Report post Posted September 26, 2011 I think FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising) has footwear design courses that may include shoemaking. You might be able to approach them about auditing a course. Just a thought. In the Boston area we give small shoe making courses in our prototyping studio at Sixsmith www.6smith.com.
