Members cowboybob56 Posted August 3, 2011 Members Report Posted August 3, 2011 Awsome seat. I have been attempting my own $600.00 seat for my bike. Your seat would be a diamond in a goats butt on most bikes. My seat is the goats butt surrounded by the diamond of a motorcycle. I can never guage the size of the pattern to the pan before I tool the pattern. I don't know. I would like to know how much bigger than the pan must I make the seat? Members bustedlifter Posted August 4, 2011 Author Members Report Posted August 4, 2011 Thanks Bob. $600.00 would get a lot better parts than a seat. Then I saw goat and thought, wait a minute, I thought that was cowhide. I don't have leather on the bottom of this sea but I usually overhang the pan about an 1/8" or so. The stripe actually lines up with the one on the fender when you look at it from straight above. Quote
