Members morlegend Posted August 11, 2011 Members Report Posted August 11, 2011 Hey guys! new to the forum and was hoping I could get some quick help. I was gifted a (supposedly) genuine camel leather jacket that someone brought back from Morocco. I'm trying to figure out how much this jacket would be worth in the US. Any ideas? I'd also love to hear any suggestions on how to find out whether it's real leather. Supposedly, the guy that sold it to her lit it on fire (?) to prove that it was real. searched around on the net, but couldn't find anything I was sure of. Thanks! Quote

Hi, I hope this will not offens anyone here.... I would take the jacket and closley compair it with a genuin Camle jacket, maybe even take it to someone that have a better understanding about this specific item? As a frequent traveller in certain parts of this side of the pond you'll know that most of "maker brand" items will be rip-offs (fake copies) and they're good at it too:blink: Quote "He who works with his hands is a laborer. Members BIGGUNDOCTOR Posted August 13, 2011 Members Report Posted August 13, 2011 It is probably worth a lot to the camel it came from. Quote You laugh at me because I am different. I laugh at you because you are all the same.
