Members Magsley Posted August 26, 2011 Members Report Posted August 26, 2011 So I am using the aerosol can of Neatlac to put a finish on some belts (this is my first time leatherworking) and I think I went overboard on one piece and put too heavy of a coat on and it dried really dark and WAY too shiny... is there any way I can remedy this without having to buy another product? Thanks in advance! Quote
Frank Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 In order to remove the neat lac you will have to buy a liquid stripper unfortunately. The next time, spray a good amount of the neat lac on a piece of sheepskin or heavy cloth and rub it on the belt instead of spraying directly on the item. This should solve future problems.
