Members THein Posted September 8, 2011 Members Report Posted September 8, 2011 I had a customer come to me with a request for a shoulder holster. I've never made one before. He brought an example. It was a Hunter brand holster. After a couple false starts, I got the holster pattern worked out then figured I could use SS TIG rods for the tension. Now I'm down to stitching the holster and covering the TIG rods. Looking at the Hunter holster, I have no idea how they went about sewing it together. The rods run down one side of the holster, then make a u-turn below the chicago screw and then run up the other side so you can't sew the covers and then join the bottom. How is it done??? dirtclod Posted September 8, 2011 Report Posted September 8, 2011 Sew the sides. Then bend to fit on the bottom and sew. Or sew it all flat bend to fit on the bottom and sew. Your picture doesn't really show the front of the bottom of the holster. Might work might not. Quote
