BillB Report post Posted September 23, 2011 A friend of mine has asked me to construct a black powder shot bag he saw in the Black Foot Museum. It is constructed from the tanned hides from a deer's leg from the knee to the hoof including the dew claw. The construction is such that the dew claws form a ring at the base of the bag so that the bag is held in place on a table by the dew claws. I am looking for the tanned skins from eight (8) deer legs to include the dew claws and the hide to the hoof. Any assistance would be appreciated.
