Members Ledermeister200 Posted October 14, 2011 Members Report Posted October 14, 2011 I use gum Arabic from Michaels art section (used as a binding agent for water colors). Let it dry and buff with a polished hardwood wheel. Quote
Frank Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 I dampen the edge with water, rub a piece of solid glycerine saddle soap lightly on the dampened edge, then rub briskly with a piece of canvas. Read Bob Parks tutorial on finishing edges. Frank Quote
Contributing Member TwinOaks Posted October 15, 2011 Contributing Member Report Posted October 15, 2011 +1 on reading the tutorial on finishing edges. It's in the "how do I do that" section by member 'Hidepounder'. Quote
