Members ELeBlanc Posted October 30, 2011 Members Report Posted October 30, 2011 Brought a JUKI LU 563 and a Singer Patcher 29K58 to this guy in Brooklyn. He's store is just full of used Industrial machines. I had just purchased both machines without knowing the working condition of either one. Also I've never sewn on a machine before. He helped me while I was in the shop. Turned out the Juki was missing a number of parts - which he added for me. Then we attached the machine to the table (he told me that table was from a Singer 31 series and not for the Juki although it fits). He showed me how to thread it and oil it. He did the same for the Singer Patcher. I walked in with two non-functional machines and an hour and a half later with two functional machines and some training on how to use them. Total bill was cheap. Highly recommend this guy. Quote
