sherpa Report post Posted November 11, 2011 I posted awhile ago looking for the square felt daubers that are now made of unobtanium. I happened to find a felt cloth for buffing shoes. I cut it into 1x4" strips and glued them onto wooden barbecue skewers. I dipped the stick into the glue pot and then applied a narrow coating of glue on the other end of the felt. I then rolled it and let it set for awhile. I was surprised how much more control I had with the round shape. I am also still using the daubers I made a couple of weeks ago.
