Members NatesCustomHolsters Posted November 20, 2011 Members Report Posted November 20, 2011 So I started the local class at the tandy store on leatherworking, and other than the one floral carving they start you out on, here is what I have done... What do you guys think? I just kind of winged it on the leaf. Whats the best way to do letters like this that are simple? Anyway, heres the pics. Quote
Members Vikti Posted November 20, 2011 Members Report Posted November 20, 2011 I think that oak leaves are some of the best things to start off with. They're simple yet can have a ton of detail of you want. My opinion is that my first good carving was an oak leaf which can be found here Keep it up. Damon Quote
Members NatesCustomHolsters Posted November 20, 2011 Author Members Report Posted November 20, 2011 I really like leaf patterns. I plan to do a lot of them. Its gonna take a lot of practice though before I put something on one of my holsters and try to sell it. -Nate Quote
