Hi folks,

Got over my very first tooling work - the fabulous Tandy billfold wallet :showoff:

Made seem a lot of mistakes, but now lessons learned. :thumbsup:

Any suggestions/advises/etc are warmly welcome.

It looks good.......if you didn't make mistakes or learn from it......how would you get better.

The bevelling and shading look pretty good for your first project. It is hard to get much definition with thin leather. The knife work, especially the decorative cuts, are somewhat "rigid." Practice figure 8's, S's, ovals, etc to develop your technique and be sure to strop your knife frequently.

Yes, I will. It is my main weak currenly.

I just ALWAYS very afraid of these final decorative cuts to made as there is seem no much room for mistakes what can ruin the whole the previous work down. :rip_1:
