Members Charlesworth Posted December 7, 2011 Members Report Posted December 7, 2011 I am making a leather briefcase. I have been everywhere in Utah trying to find some rivets that are big enough for my bag (not large as in length, but large as in diameter of the round head. I have been to the tandy leather store and they say they haven't ever heard of sizes any bigger, but I see them on bags everywhere and online. Tandy's biggest rapid rivets are the size of a small tack. Too small. Please, if anybody can help me find some Antique Brass Rivets I would be very appreciative. Here is a picture of the size rivet I am looking for.... Is there such a thing as rivets with a big circumference head (about 3/4 the size of a dime) and short rod for riveting only 2 to 3 layers of leather? Thanks, Brian Quote
