I saw this design in the Tandy book and decided I'd give it a try. After a practice run I felt confident enough to try and make something presentable. What this is is a memorial plaque for a good friend of mine who lost her baby earlier this year. The letters were a little crooked but I was too far to turn back and she didn't seem to mind:-)

Pretty good for a 2nd go. I need more practice that this kind of tooling. When using the letter stamps, in order to keep the letters aligned I keep the last letter stamp in place and use that as a guide for the next one. If you are stamping a double letter, you can substitute the last stamp with another letter and use that as a reference. I hope that makes sense. Its what I do and it works for me.

Thanks, I've gotten a bit better with the letters since then but still a long ways from perfect. I suppose it'll come with time
