Hi Cheryl, Glad I am not the only one who keeps making stuff! LOL Of course, when you live in the woods, you get cabin fever when you don't!! I had 17 horses thru HS and college. Know the drill. Miss them awfully, but too many large predators here. bear, cougar, big coyotes. All I can do to keep them and my English Labrador from mixing it up. Guess I need to place an ad for used entry level tools and start hunting up back quiver patterns and leather. Oh, and to make if funnier, I co-own a freshwater fishing tackle shop, fly and spinning, and we sell hunting crossbows and do custom fletching and service. But it keeps me off the streets and out of the pool halls! HAHA Nacomis/Lynda

Well this fool was sitting at a BROOK here fishing earlier because I got mad at my horse, LOL. I wanted to get some pics of the things I'd made on a real horse, and when I went to get her, she almost ran me down getting away. She hasn't done that for 3 years and it made me so mad, I went to the barn, got m y little bit of fishing gear I have there, my service dog and carrots, and fed the other two mares with her carrots and ignored her. Which I know will keep her from sleeping tonight, HAHA.

When I finally got wet and cold enough, we went back to the barn and I had 25 minutes to get the pictures of her because my ride either had to get me at 1:30 or after 4. I wasn't staying until 4 with wet feet! so have the pics on a real (real dirty horse) for our website and now I know where to start building up my tackle again!, I'm glad you're here Lynda.

Hi To All, I am going to have to "relearn" leatherworking and pick up tools as I go. Retirement is boring and I have returned to traditional archery and want my own leather accessories. Let's face it, nothing is nicer than custom and the joy of making it yourself. Nacomis

Welcome Nacomis to the best leather working Forum on the Web. Just ask the question and you will get all the answers to solve your problems. I too am a Target Archer and make all my own accessories. Have a look at my profile and you will see that I also carve wood, and have fishing listed as an interest. Check out my web site for examples of the quivers and accessories I make for archers. There are two Tandy Pattern Packs available for quivers and accessories that will get you started . The first one is Craftaid No: 3089 which is a fully carved back quiver (one was posted on this forum by a member last week) and the second is Pattern Pack No: 6027 which contains patterns for a bow case, arm guard, finger guard, back quiver, large back quiver, belt quiver, small belt quiver and a broad head hunting quiver. If there is anything I can help you with please ask. You can contact me via my website if you wish to.

Kind regards,
