Stitch Groover

Recommended Posts

I am sure this question has been answered somewhere in the Form..

Do you use a stitch groover with the leather cased or dry...or does it make a difference?

Try to learn the best way of doing things...

Thanks to all that reply...

I believe that it is easier to cut cased leather, so it is easier to groove it when its cased too.

But there is nothing wrong with grooving it when its dry...

IMHO.....it depends on the quality and sharpness of your tool. A good quality sharpen tool will cut through wet or dry leather.
