Members Suicide Posted January 3, 2012 Members Report Posted January 3, 2012 (edited) Hi folks, I'm looking for something to glue outer EVA or rubber sole onto rubber midsole. Barge, Master etc seem none of them available in Europe. Has anybody used that Nisan atom glue? http://www.cobblersu...-Instant/Detail How strong it is? Is it waterproof? Is it flexible when cured? The another option is ShoeGoo or E-6000, they also available here. How they are comparing to that Nisan Atom Glue? Thanks in advance! Edited January 3, 2012 by Suicide Quote My leatherwork gallery

Members Leather Guru Posted January 5, 2012 Members Report Posted January 5, 2012 I think ur looking for a good contact glue like Pattex or something similar . Don't forget to try the glue on some scraps ! I'm sure U can find something in a DIY store that would be suitable Quote
Members machinehead Posted January 5, 2012 Members Report Posted January 5, 2012 There is a glue made in Germany called Renia with primers for different sole materials. Google " Renia Bonding Shoe Repair Material " for an excellent tutorial on its uses and procedures. Its kind of pricey here in the States, but considering the time and aggravation saved on those hard to bond materials I think it is worth it. Quote
Members Suicide Posted January 5, 2012 Author Members Report Posted January 5, 2012 Thanks, guys, for these tips. Found both. Pattex looks a bit suspicious as it stated as "all-around adhesive" and I don't trust much to such. May be I wrong though. Quote My leatherwork gallery
Members celticleather Posted January 6, 2012 Members Report Posted January 6, 2012 Do a Google search for 'Klebfest Glue'. It's an excellent leather and rubber glue, ideal for shoe and leather work. It's readily available in Europe. Quote When everyone is somebody, then no one's anybody
