Members TomG Posted January 25, 2012 Members Report Posted January 25, 2012 Hey folks, I've been asked to make an ovalish shaped belt and they want a leather ruffle around the entire piece. Any suggestions? The picture does not look like suede. Not sure what it is, but she swears it's leather. The company she saw the picture is no longer making them and hasn't for a while, it seems. Also, about how much would be a fair price for it? I'm thinking in the $40-$50 range, but since I've never done one of these, I'll a little lost. Members WinterBear Posted January 25, 2012 Members Report Posted January 25, 2012 Maybe very thin veg-tan lining leather, like a calf, goat, or pig, no thicker than 2oz? It could probably be turned into tuck ruffles. Quote I used to be an Eagle, a good ol' Eagle too...
