Flexable Belt Lacing

anyone have a source for flexable belt lacing(alligator staples)used to join leather conveyor belts together?? these were used on WW2 leather knife sheath at the throat to keep from slicing the leather when putting the knife back in the sheath?? found some large ones,but need a smaller size! thanks,Dennis
