ABC3 Report post Posted February 27, 2012 I just got my new Cobra Class 4 sewing machine in, from Steve (we have a Class 3 and have enjoyed it so much we decided to purchase another machine and wouldn't think of going anywhere else but back to Steve. Anyway, got it all set up and went to work. Great machine and love the longer arm. But one thing I noticed right off the bat was the lighting system. It has the same goose neck LED light that the Class 3 has. The light on the Class 3 is excellent and does a great job but on the Class 4 the goose neck isn't long enough to go over the arm so it has to be positioned under the arm. When you aim the light at your work the light shines on the needle plate and roller guide and right back in your eyes. I've tried every adjustment, in the book, but to no avail. It became a major problem just trying to see my work. I talked to a couple of other people who I knew had the Class 4, as well. And they mentioned that they were having the same problem. So, in passing, I mentioned this to David and his response was "I've got just what you need". Three days later it arrived, at the shop. It is a small 2" LED strip with magnets that you can attach under the machine and direct the light totally on your work. Needless to say, it made all the difference in the world. So if any of you are having the same problem this little light is priceless. I think it sells for about $20.00 and worth every penny. Again, thanks to Steve and the gang for outstanding Customer Service.

lws380 Report post Posted February 28, 2012 Those little suckers are great. A must have IMO. It puts light right on the sewing where you need it. What i like also, is that I plugged it into the motor outlet. So when I turn on the machine light is on automatically. Likewise when I turn off the machine the light goes out too. The light helps as a reminder that the machine is on or off.
