Members srbonner Posted March 20, 2012 Members Report Posted March 20, 2012 I need some ideas. Im working on a portfolio and on the back side I plan on tooling a cross in the center. What I need help with is incorporating the cross with the basketweave. Could a guy bevel the edges of the cross and the use a backgrounder to fade into the basketweave. Thanks for the help. Moderator bruce johnson Posted March 20, 2012 Moderator Report Posted March 20, 2012 I usually cut my lines for the cross first and then basketstamp. Then I go back and bevel the cross. I fade with a checkered matting tool held at an angle to lessen the halo of the bevelers and fade into the basket.
