So I currently buy lots from Tandy...unfortunetly the quality of the leather is not great and I need to find some supplies that are priced well and have GREAT quality. I am a little itty bitty business but I plan on being as great as Microsoft some day...well microsoft in relation to cowgirls and boys! I make breast collars, headstalls, nosebands and mostly cater to the blingy cowgirls. I also need to find out what is the best way to paint on leather and have it stay put well tolerating daily abuse such as horse sweat, mud, rain and dust. Thanks Hey!

Hey Nicole. I make similar items, and I use water based paints like the cova's but any acrylic will do. The thing is to water them down and put on more than one coat instead of having a thick glob on them. And put a good leather finish on them. Cheryl
