i have always used around a 5/6 -8/9 for previous projects but I'm working on smaller things patterns and thinner leather. how deep should i be going into the 3/4 oz? anyone have any pics of tooling in 3/4?

General rule is half the thickness of the leather. This one is in 3/4, as are a good many small projects.

Rubber cement your project down to Hot Press (Crescent) Illustration board prior to casing and tooling. The thin leather will emboss into the hot press board slightly and the tooling will appear deeper. Wait until completely dry to peel up. This will also keep your leather from stretching out of shape.

Diapers and Politicians should be changed often...

Both for the same reason!
