Llama .380 Test Fit

Recommended Posts

I got a buddy that wants me to make him a holster for his Llama .380. This is also my first holster with a thumb break. I'll have to modify one of my current thumb break tabs as it's too long for this smaller pistol. I didn't spend a lot of time molding, just wanted to give the guy aphoto of the mock-up to see if this is what he wanted. Can't wait to see how this one turns out. Finished product is going to be black on black with black antiqued hardware.

FWIW from the grumpy old guy; That brought back a few memories and I had to dig through some stuff 'till I found this pic. I made this in about 1975 or so, and was the last one I have done for one of the old Llama .380s. Haven't seen one of them for a number of years, but the son of the guy I built this one for still has the gun and holster. Mike

Reminds me of the Roy Baker pancake. I like it. Please post finished product. Now I'm gonna have to sit down and try one....;-) thanks for the inspiration.

Well, here's a shot of the first one. I was quite pleased with it, but the customer wanted more cant and a higher ride.
