My closet workshop

Recommended Posts

It's not quite finished yet. I'm waiting for some proper clips for the pegboard so that I can hang my tools up on the wall behind the bench.

I remodeled my half of the master closet and squeezed in a tiny workshop. I had really gotten sick of not having a dedicated workspace.

Most times the dye/finish work and some edge sanding will be done out in the garage. For the cutting, stamping, stitching and other non-smelly operations it'll be done here. The bench is 47" by 20", solid beech and quite sturdy.

That is really cool!

Don't show it to my wife. I've been whining at her that I need more space, and you're proving I could do more with less. I'm really impressed with how you used your space.

I'm glad you're doing your solvents work elsewhere ... You'd need to put in fans or something if you were tempted to Barge yourself in there.

I *love* the idea that you have dedicated space. (Using the kitchen table for leatherwork is such a pain come dinner time. ;-))

Most excellent. I'm trying to fit a new shop into my 'workshop' outside. Why does all empty space fill itself during the night?
