Members WELSHMAN Posted May 19, 2012 Members Report Posted May 19, 2012 I know this ? has been ask before, I'm just starting out and need to purchase glue. With all the different brands which one will work best for me ? I know this is a wide area here, dry time isn't a factor. (30 minutes is fine) I will be gluing leather to cotton and wool strap and leather to leather. Hope this help Lynn Quote
Members ericluther Posted May 19, 2012 Members Report Posted May 19, 2012 I use waterproof wood glue you can buy at any lowes or home depot in my experience works much better than the specialty leather glues and is far less expensive. Members TacticallySharp Posted May 20, 2012 Members Report Posted May 20, 2012 I use Barge for most of my sheaths, except when it is raining, then I use white craft glue from Walmart. Use Barge while sitting in the backyard the fumes can be a bit much. Quote George Tactically Sharp, Inc. Hialeah, Florida tacticallysharp.com "time only is forever"
