cleveland Posted May 20, 2012 Report Posted May 20, 2012 I am interested to hear what others are doing to modify a Ring's Blue mag for a mag holster. I have taped a pen cap to the mag to make it loaded, but I have to believe there is a better solution then this. Thanks! Bobby Quote
Members Steven Kelley Posted May 20, 2012 Members Report Posted May 20, 2012 I tried using Ring's mags, but ended up going back to using real mags with a couple of rounds loaded. Quote
Members Shooter McGavin Posted May 20, 2012 Members Report Posted May 20, 2012 I honestly do not understand why Rings make mags with no cartridges in them, and guns with the safeties in the "off" position. Quote
cleveland Posted May 20, 2012 Author Report Posted May 20, 2012 The blue mags are intended for trainers to use in their actual firearms. If John made them loaded, the action on your firearm would not operate. How do I know? I asked him the same question. :-) Quote
Members Eaglestroker Posted May 20, 2012 Members Report Posted May 20, 2012 I reload, therefore I have real magazines with brass which has been deprimed and bullets seated. Is it a necessary precaution? Probabaly not. Sure would hate to find out the hard way, though. -Robert Quote
