rdb Report post Posted January 20, 2008 Looking forward to the pix! BTW: People are probably sick of seeing this topic, but for the record, I took this bag down to the local accessory shop, she put it on display. They had three bikes in the showroom, I couldn't make it work right on any of them...talk about stymied! The strap wasn't long enough for the Hog fork pipes. It didn't fit the four pipe chopper anywhere without being rubbed by the spring pipes, and the other one had too many accessories to fit the bag anywhere. One thing for sure, these have to be made for specific bikes.

Roger Report post Posted January 20, 2008 rdb.. i'm not tired of this thread at all! most all the bags a have made will work for any bike. some guys request a shorter bag but in general an 11" bag will work for just about anything. Hidemechanic... get that camera hooked up and lets see some pics!

Hidemechanic Report post Posted January 20, 2008 These aren't exactly on subject, but i'm trying to post pics. These are some of the butt ugliest bags I had done but it was what the guy wanted. It was a matching set for him and his wife(both bikes) they said they road to Baja and worked great as suit cases. Were able to pull them off and bring them in motels when they stayed in them. If the pics turn out you can see how the slots held the straps in place. They have weather flaps, as well as the boxed front on the lids.GH Suzuki_Bag_2.bmp 01_20_2008_10_10_49AM.bmp Suzuki_Bag_2.bmp 01_20_2008_10_10_49AM.bmp
