Drac Posted July 24, 2008 Report Posted July 24, 2008 hopefully you're talking about the texturing that's on there. you can get something similar to taht by going to home depot or a similar place and getting a small panel of flourescent light diffuser. you can get a 2' x 2' sheet of it cheap. plus, there's several different ones to choose from. I use 'em and it works. Quote frissenfrassenmussafrussen...
Members Loydo50 Posted July 24, 2008 Author Members Report Posted July 24, 2008 (edited) I am looking to dye me project and get that distressed look the belt has to make it look old and worn. Drac: Thanks for the texture tip as well. I will try that on something else as well. Never thought about using one. Edited July 24, 2008 by Loydo50 Quote

'S easy....Use eco-flo dyes, then buff with a damp cloth along the edges. Maybe wad up the damp cloth and roll it along the belt, letting the moisture 'ruin' the finish. Then...seal the crap out of it so it doesn't do it anymore. Quote Mike DeLoach Esse Quam Videri (Be rather than Seem) "Don't learn the tricks of the trade.....Learn the trade."
