Members chocolateducttape Posted January 18, 2008 Members Report Posted January 18, 2008 Wow! Good job, those are gorgeous! When/where/from whom did you learn to make saddles? Quote
Members buffalo Posted January 18, 2008 Author Members Report Posted January 18, 2008 A local saddle maker, that has made saddles over 50 years taught me here in West Valley Utah. He has been teaching me now for about 6 or 7 years. (off and on) I feel really lucky to be taught some of the tricks by a true old master. Buff Quote

Ambassador freak Posted January 19, 2008 Ambassador Report Posted January 19, 2008 Very nice !! Love the color . But i gotta tell ya that's the skinniest horses i've ever seen. Quote It takes more then one freak to have a true freakshow. So take a seat , the show is about to start. Check out the freakSHOW
ETW Grumpy Posted January 19, 2008 Report Posted January 19, 2008 Those are beautiful. I really like the contrast between the black of the seat and the rest of the saddle. Great looking work. I agree with freak though(and isn't that a scary thought), you may need to break out the feed bag a little more often. LOL. Quote

Members buffalo Posted January 19, 2008 Author Members Report Posted January 19, 2008 Thanks for the compliments. At the price of hay now days, you have to feed sparingly. LOL Actually all of my horse's are to fat and under used. Regards Buff Quote

Members buffalo Posted January 19, 2008 Author Members Report Posted January 19, 2008 I'm not sure who made those reata's. I just bought them. Regards Buff Quote
Members paris3200 Posted January 20, 2008 Members Report Posted January 20, 2008 Everything is beautiful. Can you give some information on the canteens? Jason Quote http://www.parisleatherworks.com
Members buffalo Posted January 20, 2008 Author Members Report Posted January 20, 2008 I'd like to, but I'm trying to find a place to buy the plastic ones to cover myself. The place I bought that one from has gone out of business. I covered that one with Herman Oak saddle skirting. Regards Buff Quote
