I'm ordering (2) 2XL Open Skinned Skunk Pelts to make my "Daniel Boone" cap.... I've got a great idea of what I'm doing from Luke, but I'm still a bit leery of making a huge pile of expensive scrap.Anybody used the Classic Fur Hat Pattern: http://www.glacierwear.com/classic-fur-hat-pattern.html

I couldn't find a cap pattern... but here a site that explains how to make your own pattern.

Also, the homepage of thecoonskincap (http://thecoonskincap.com/) has three-step-by-step videos of the hat or a similar hat made from the same or similar pattern as the one in the second link there.
