Members LoneStar Posted August 5, 2012 Members Report Posted August 5, 2012 Howdy all, new member here from the DFW area of Texas. As a retired vet I've tried a couple of hobbies to stay busy. The latest was metal detecting. After a couple months of that it was apparent to me that I needed a less physically demanding hobby. Getting up and down from the ground hundreds of times a day was too much for me. So now I'm turning my garage into a workshop and am diving into leatherworking. And possibly some woodworking. My job career was mechanical/ technical so I've allways made a living with my hands and my limited brains-lol. Looking forward to learning a lot from all the members and reading a lot. Quote
