Contributing Member rdb Posted July 30, 2008 Contributing Member Report Posted July 30, 2008 I was reading at Dailykos, and saw this Topic: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/7/29/19...5679/325/559027 (I know, I know, it's a political site, but this diary isn't.) Scroll down in the story, and you'll find the flickr hyperlink: http://flickr.com/photos/94132166@N00/ I think there's some spring metal involved. Anyhow it works, I like the idea. Quote
Members CitizenKate Posted July 30, 2008 Members Report Posted July 30, 2008 Good question. There doesn't seem to be enough info, but I'd like to know, too. Does anyone else know what this is? (As for the leather binder, that is.) Kate Quote
Members IanCantwell Posted July 30, 2008 Members Report Posted July 30, 2008 I think you'll find the key is sewn into the spine. I've seen a modern equivalent in plastic that uses a springy plastic spine but I guess this one being 40 years old will have a spring steel piece. I guess you could compare to an elongated bicycle clip (that keeps your trousers out of the chain). Quote
