How could someone find that the sharing of information on a supplier who works hard to produce a quality product and happy customers would be considered taboo. I see other folks pandering in threads (which was not done here) for business. I see folks selling outside the market place (not done here). So what gives? Are the advertisers complaining that someone is getting good feedback, maybe they need to step up and provide the same customer oriented care and they can get such reviews. Just sayin.... Rather than cause problems again just ignore this thread. Sounds like you could use a hug though. So, back to the reason for the thread. I have had BLR make me some makers marks and some other pieces. Quick turn around and made spot on to my specs. Nothing but love from me. Here is a link to the original thread... Art Report post Posted August 22, 2012 When a moderator (me) shuts a thread down, it is because the posts, for whatever reason are turning nasty. Verbal abuse means something directed personally at another member. I caught the posts and made them non viewable and closed the thread. If this sniping continues, I will moderate both parties, which means simply, that a moderator will have to review your post before it is approved for general consumption. I don't do this to shut down the group hug. I do it before someone gets banned for saying something way out of line. Believe me, the mods (and most members) weren't born yesterday, and we read all posts, so when someone brags that they have driven business to a particular vendor, we usually just shrug it off, but remember that the guys at the top of the page pay dearly to keep this site up. The mods don't get paid, and the owner/admin doesn't get paid. The only ones making any money off this site are the web host and the software provider. Phatdaddy Report post Posted August 22, 2012 Word of mouth sticks in my mind more so than banners. I appreciate reviews (positive and/or negative) when people post them. No need to overdo it, nor bash people for their support/opposition. I can, however, attest to how great BRL is to deal with and how great their products are! I purchased 6 different templates(based on the reviews from this site), they are all beautiful high quality useful additions to my work space and I am sure they will be around much longer than some of my other tools. They were great to deal with, great and timely responses to questions and beyond reasonably priced (templates and shipping). I stand behind what I said as well. But again that is not the point of this thread. Chief- I watched our other g-strap videos last night. Great job. Im currently looking through the new video and like what I see so far. I promised to do a vid on the strap gauge. I guess I need to get to it.
