Suggestion...have Lw Members Edit Thier Classifieds

When they have sold one or all of the listed items. The ad's seem to just sit there for months. Maybe I am in the minority but I end up clicking and realizing that the item was sold 3-4 weeks ago. Or the seller..sells the item and never updates the classifed and people start asking if the item is still for sale.

Also if the topic title stated Sold it might be easier for the mod. to move it to the sold section!

We DO try to move them as soon as we see a notification that the item is sold. However, we all have day jobs, chores, etc., so it doesn't all happen quite as quickly as we'd like. Sometimes they get by us, but we'll keep an eye out for them.

Incidentally, once a thread is started only moderators can change the topic title. Members can not change the topic title after the item is sold.

As far as items being updated....yes, there are a few that are sold and no further posts are made by the seller.

I wasn't trying to insinuate that someone wasn't doing thier job. Just saying that if people put SOLD in thier topic line instead of as a reply to thier own post. Other members and staff could save some time by not having to look in the thread!

Its a good thing that people's items are selling so well!
