Is It Possible To Find 4-6 Oz Latigo Leather In Black

I've been searching for some black latigo leather that's roughly somewhere between 4-6 oz, but it appears to be impossible to find. I was curious if anybody could explain why that is? Or if I've just been looking in all the wrong places?
