After more searching than i can remember in a while i found a site that is called Spaghetti Western Replicas and they make the 1 and only i am looking for and sure enough the belt is cut,,to help with the angle i don't know,but i sure can't afford ha ha.

It is from a guy of some fame i guess several years back before all this cowboy shoot stuff blossumed,,Andy Anderson...Anyways just thought i would toss that out and i have something to look forward to trying in the future..Gotta go do something to help the other

it would be good bad ugly,,try and post a pix with this,,,ha my computer skills are like leather,,need more practice,,that said i have some will ghormly patterns to work with,,i think i use those till i get better but if the pix get here and someone knows of

specific pattern i would like to know if possible,,regards and thanks

Not to take this off track but thats an 1860 Colt army Cap and Ball revolver. with 44 ca bullets on the belt. I know that several thousand were converted to 44's but you can still see the nipples on the cylinder on this one. Funny that hollywood makes mistakes like this.

Note: the above assumes I am not crazy. There are those that say I am. It sure looks like the cap and ball version to me. I also dont know how to make the picture follow the quote.

I think Lee Van Cleef used a Remington 1858 cap and ball revolver in that movie.

I have some patterns for that style, if you PM me your E mail address I will send you the file.

Nope that is a Remington 1858 not sure if it was .36cal Navy or .44Cal Army model

the only diffrence between the Army and Navy models were the bore diameter.

Neither the 1852 Colt Navy or 1860 Colt Army model had a closed frame
