Holster Maker In / Around New Orleans La

Hello all,

I am looking for an artist in or around New Orleans LA to make a high quality traditional floral design holster for a S&W N Frame Model 29-2 5" barrel revolver (think Dirty Harry goes to the dude ranch). I only need the holster not full western rig. I am not into western reenactments or quick-draw competition or anything like that. I have inherited my fathers pistol collection and there is one pistol that lacks a holster. I am wanting a real heirloom piece, something that I can hand down to the next generation.

If there are any interested parties out there or if anyone knows of an artist in my area, please post here.

Hi Richard,

You may want to contact the New Orleans Tandy Leather Store on Airline Drive over by Zyphers Field. The manager there usually keeps a listing of local leatherworkers and their speciality. Their number is 504-737-3434. I would recomend my wife Cookie except she has cut way back on leatherworking due to her health. But I am sure there are other leatherworkers that would be happy to help you out.
