Members RoosterShooter Posted October 15, 2012 Members Report Posted October 15, 2012 I've sharpened everything under the sun at one time or another, but I'm stumped when sharpening a curved trim knife. Do I use a small Arkansas or Diamond Stone, and follow the edges in segments? Someone please inform me on how to sharpen this blade. I know how to strop it, but sharpening it at the angles it requires has me stumped. Thanks Quote
Contributing Member TwinOaks Posted October 15, 2012 Contributing Member Report Posted October 15, 2012 Round sharpening rod. There's several brands of ceramic sharpening rods available...on of them is the Lansky Crock Stick. Set the rod in it's angled hole and draw the knife across it.
